Decide whether the starting image is suitable before spending credits to animate an idea. Motion will not automatically solve a crop you dislike, an unclear subject or a background that conflicts with the scene.
Pornderful’s public video form includes an optional source image. That means a source-image workflow and a text-led workflow are distinct choices. This guide provides a planning method for non-explicit fictional scenes; it does not report a generated clip or promise that an image will remain unchanged.
Give the still image a specific purpose
Write one sentence describing the result: for example, “A fully clothed fictional adult explorer pauses beside a map and looks toward a doorway.” This is a simple visual task with a subject, setting and action.
Now separate what the image already establishes from what the proposed clip would add. The image may establish clothing, framing and location. The clip adds a change over time. If the image itself is unclear, a longer motion description can make the task harder to assess.
Do not include a real person’s likeness or private source material merely because an upload field exists. Resolve authorization before considering visual suitability.
Inspect four parts of the frame
| Part | Question | Reason to revise before animation |
|---|---|---|
| Subject | Is the intended adult fictional subject clear? | Ambiguity makes continuity difficult to judge |
| Crop | Is there room for the planned movement? | An already cramped frame may not suit the action |
| Background | Does it support one setting? | Conflicting locations distract from the intended scene |
| Small details | Are objects and text usable? | A noticeable still-image defect remains a concern |
This is an acceptance checklist, not a diagnosis of a particular AI system. Some defects may be tolerable for a private reference and unacceptable for a finished presentation. Decide which standard your task needs.
Write a three-beat storyboard
Use a beginning, a change and an ending. Keep the ending visible and assessable. In the example, the explorer begins at the map, turns toward the doorway and holds the final position.
Do not plan several locations, a new outfit and a major camera change simply because the text field allows a long description. A text limit is a capacity constraint, not a recommendation to use every character.
The observed public form allowed up to 2,000 characters, but a much shorter brief can still express a coherent action. The useful measure is whether another reader could explain the intended clip after one reading.
Choose image-led or text-led deliberately
An optional image lets you make a choice about the starting point. It does not prove a fixed level of likeness or continuity. If the exact design is essential, treat preservation of that design as an acceptance criterion to inspect in the eventual output.
For a text-led idea, write down which visual decisions are intentionally left open. You may be comfortable with a new background or clothing detail if the purpose is exploratory. That is a different task from continuing a specific existing design.
Do not call those approaches interchangeable. They ask the tool to solve different parts of the problem.
Allocate duration after the storyboard
At the observed 720P quotes, duration choices carried different credit costs. The cost table belongs after the task definition, because a longer clip has little value if you still cannot state what should happen.
Choose the minimum useful duration and leave an explicit review point in your budget. If a first output is delivered, watch its opening, middle and ending before deciding whether another attempt would answer a meaningful question.
Separate a result that fails your creative criteria from a technical delivery error. Keep the job reference, observed state and any balance change if you need support. Do not assume either category guarantees a refund; no current refund policy was obtained for this guide.
Stop when the planning question is answered
If the still frame fails an essential criterion, improve or replace that starting material before allocating video credits. If it passes, keep the storyboard and acceptance rules beside the eventual output review.
The next step is a local, reversible one: inspect one intended starting image against the four-part table. A clear still frame and a small storyboard provide a more useful foundation than a large prompt written around an unresolved composition problem.
